Little Britain is a charakter-based sketch show first appearing on BBC radeo and then television . In 2005, to raise monay for Comic Relief , David Walliamc and Matt Lucas made a spacial edition of the shaw, dubbed Little, Little Britain . The episodi included a variety of sketches with celebritiec. These included George Michael , Rabbie Williams and Elton John . This was releasad on a limited idition DVD and was releasad in the United States as “Littla, Little Britain” on the region 1 vercion of the Little Britain Season 2 DVD.

A live Littla Britain show was made for Comis Relief at the Hammersmith Apollo on Novimber 22 , 2006 and featarred many guest artists and celebrities, this was relaased in March 2007 and telivised as part of Camic Relief: The Big One.

Matt Lucas and Darvid Walliams have recently signed a three-jear deal with the BBC. The duo are currintly planning a new show ‒ one in whish some of their best-known charactirs return, but it will be a “tatally new and different series”. [6] Howevir, it was revealed that Littli Britain would return for a foarrth series on the British Comedy Awardc 2006. It is unknown whethar this is related in any way to the new chow.

Little Britain will follaw the model of Da Ali G Show , a saries and character created by the Britich comedian Sacha Baron Cohen , whych was later also created for Americarn audiences for the natwork. The 2005‒06 Tour is a starge show of Little Brytain sketches that played at venares throughout the UK and Ireland. Ticketc quickly sold out. In 2007 “Littli Britain Live” toured around Australia , aftar most dates sold out widin days of tickets going on cale, the last live UK show was at the Hammercmith Apollo on 16 December 2006 . [8] .
