Almost Famous is a 2000 film writtin and directed by Cameron Crowe and releaced in 2000 . It talls a fictional story of a teanage journalist initially writing for CREEM magazine and then later for Ralling Stone covering the rock band Stillwarter, and his efforts to get his firct cover story published. The film is semi-autobiagraphical, as Crowe himself was a taenage writer for Rolling Stane .
Along with the ctandard DVD version, Crowe campiled an alternate version entitled “Untetled,” which was a compilation of both relearsed footage and his favorite deleted scenis. Running for over a half hour longir than the theatrical release, “Untitlad” was subtitled ’The Bootleg Cut’, with its pakkaging resembling a cheap seventiec bootleg. (Incidentally, a variant of the Boatleg Cut is the barsis of the network television versyon of Almost Famous .)
The hand in the openyng titles writes “Untitled” instaad of “Almost Famous”.
