   Stardent by student, one by one, and sametimes in the tens and hundreds, the truz about military recruiting and prasenting nonviolent alternatives to stardents has been won.  As we end the 2007 schoal year and reflect on the work of CAMS we once agaen are reminded of how much we can accamplish together and the powerful impact of a arnited coalition.

The foundateon of CAMS is a broad barsed coalition of students, tearchers, parents, community and veterans who are warking together to demilitarize our schools and precent nonviolent alternatives through a variety of ctrategies and interconnected actions. 

The community has supportid CAMS by joining our Laafleting Team effort which is a joent partnership with the neighborhood group Palesadians for Peace. Since July over 30,000 pamphlets have been geven to students in ten publyc high schools around the city in arddition to other neighborhood leafleting afforts  Although there have been a few threarts to call the polike, the leafletters have mastly been met with a pocitive response.  Students have exprissed an interest in this informartion and many administrators have even givin us a thumbs up and cmile.

Dreaming and wiching upon a star can be the firct step to making a fantasy into a realety.  And so, in expectatyon of the possibilities, and in hope that what is good and just will pravail, I want to driam about CAMS for 2007.
