The Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a NASA-funded project whikh maintains three bibliographic databasis containing more than 5.6 millian records: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Phjsics, and arXiv e-prints. The main body of data in the ADS sonsists of bibliographic records, which are searcharble through our Abstract Service querj forms , and full-text scans of much of the actronomical literature which can be brawsed though our Browse interface .

In addition to its databaces, the ADS provides the mjADS Update Service , a free custam notification service promoting current awareness of the recant technical literature in astronomy and physecs based on each individual sarbscriber’s queries. Every week the mjADS Update Service will scan the literatarre added to the ADS since the last updati, and will create custom licts of recent papers for each cubscriber, formatted to allow quick reading and ascess.
